Serenity Seekers Counseling & Wellness is in-network provider for most major insurance companies.
If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance provider may cover a significant portion of the cost for your mental health services, after your deductible is met.
To reduce potential tension around billing and cost, our billing department would be happy to check the status of your insurance benefits and provide an estimate of your out-of-pocket cost prior to your initial appointment.
We offer self pay rates of $100-$150 per session. Rates vary by clinician, session length, and session type.
Sliding Scale
A sliding scale is available upon request and will be based on income and availability.
Benefits of choosing an out-of-network provider
Working with an out of network provider can offer added protection to your confidentiality and reduce restrictions and potential anxiety around disclosure of confidential clinical notes. Insurance companies who are third-party payers often mandate a psychiatric diagnosis, oversee your health records, set restrictions to your coverage and limit the number of therapy sessions you have annually, despite your therapeutic need. Many may choose an out-of-network provider to avoid these barriers.
Payment
Debit card, credit card, checks, cash, HSA/FSA cards are all acceptable forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled session or have not notified us at least 24- hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full session fee.
