Our Team

Justin Murray, LCSW

(Executive Director)

Have you felt out of sync, unable to communicate clearly, frustrated and wanting to try something different but unhappy with what you’ve tried? There is hope. Through therapy, I can help you learn new ways of communicating, finding new perspectives to barriers and working through individual or relationship struggles to have your needs and wants met. If you are having difficulty making it through your everyday, dealing with the stresses of life, or managing anxiety and depression; I can help. I will help you learn new coping skills using your own personal strengths to assist you with enhancing your quality of life.

Life is too short to surrender to bad relationships, hold grudges, let trauma control us, or be anxious/angry all the time. You can be free of emotional pain, able to deal with life on life’s terms, and to find meaning/purpose in work, family, friendships, spirituality, and all other life areas.

Calling a therapist can be intimating, but I hope you will take a moment (and maybe a deep breath) to call and see how I can help. My practice is unique because not only do you get the set the pace for your goals and how we will work together, but also where we will work together. Our office has currently transitioned to being 100% virtual.

Mental health is like any muscle or vital organ in your body. It requires check ups and routine maintenance in order to stay strong. Life is full of peaks and valleys that we are often not prepared for and it is helpful to have someone to help guide you out of uncertainty. As a professional therapist, I can help guide you. I offer a unique treatment perspective for individuals of all ages – specializing in the African American experience. My goal is to remind you of your greatness and help you tap into your boundless potential.

I have worked in the helping field for over 15 years. My passion is to provide solutions and focus in a way that my clients can understand. In addition, my desire is to develop paths of learning specific for each client. My clients will receive tools in their session they can use and enjoy in their lifelong journey of being an individual, in a partnership or marriage. Furthermore, I provide spiritual help as it relates to a relationship with Jesus Christ. Lastly, I create a safe, culturally correct forum for my clients to express their needs. The modalities that I operate in are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Couples Therapy, and Somatic Trauma Therapy. I consider it a privilege and honor to work with you and your family.
